Biography:

I grew up in Bibb County Alabama where I graduated from Bibb County High School in 1996. I attended Shelton State Community College for two years on an art scholarship before transferring to the University of Alabama where I graduated with a degree in Fine Arts (photography major, painting and art history minor). After working as a photographer for two years, I decided to shake things up a bit and a joined the United States Navy where I worked as a meteorologist for five years. Upon leaving the Navy I came back to Alabama and back to school at UA to study education and history. I graduated in 2015 and began teaching in the Fall at Millbrook Middle School.
