I am a product of the Elmore County School system. I graduated from Holtville High School in 2001. After graduating, I attended Auburn University Montgomery and pursued a teaching degree in Physical Education where I graduated in 2006. Later in my career, I graduated Auburn University Montgomery with my M.S. in Instructional Leadership.
I started my teaching career at Holtville High School in January 2007 teaching Biology and Physical Science to 9th and 10th grade. In August 2007, I moved into the Physical Education role at Jemison Elementary School. After leaving JES in 2010, I pursued a career in law enforcement with the Montgomery Police Department. In December 2013, I came back to education as the Physical Education teacher at Wetumpka Elementary School and transitioned at WES to the Administrative Assistant in 2015. In December of 2016, I had the opportunity to transition to Millbrook Middle School as 7th/8th grade Assistant Principal. In July of 2020, I became the principal at MMS and have loved every step of the way. GO MUSTANGS!
