I started my educational career in 2000 at Capital Heights Middle School in Montgomery, Alabama.  I taught a variety of science courses over the next 18 years and became an administrator for Millbrook Middle School in 2017.  I have earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Master of Education in Biology, Instructional Leadership Certification, and an Education Specialist Degree in Instructional Leadership. I have completed my Ph.D. in Administration of Elementary and Secondary Education from Auburn University.

Education has always been a high priority within my family, and I am fortunate to have a great mentor, which is my father, to help guide me with my educational career.  I believe that all students can be inspired to learn and push themselves to be their best in every subject. The goal for every educator is to be that spark that ignites our student’s passion for education and career pathways.  I am proud to be part of the Mustang family!
