Biography:

My family is sprinkled with educators. From an early age I knew I wanted to become a teacher, too. I graduated from Prattville High School in 2005. Started my college career at The University of Montevallo.

I married my highschool sweatheart in 2006. In 2009 my little slice of heaven, Dallas, was born. In 2011, I graduated Cum Luade with a degree in Elementary Education, became a single parent, and started teaching at Victory Baptist here in Millbrook.

In 2013 God blessed me with my marriage to my life-long best friend, Matt Thomas. We now have three wonderful children and my heart could not be more full. My daughter, Dallas, is attending the eighth grade here at Millbrook Middle. Our oldest son, Rhett, is attending 2nd Grade at Coosada Elementary, and our youngest son, Walland, is entering a 3 day Pre-K program.

I am a proud member of the Millbrook Community and am excited to come alongside each of you to encourage, love, and educate our children. If I am not in the classroom you will find me at church, on a softball/baseball field, or with my family and friends enjoying our local events and activities.

We are going to have a fabulous year! Go Mustangs!
